Sidney Pines was first started out as a small ranch with any where from 3-5 horses. Untill recently when I decided to
start buying-Training-and selling horses we buy from a local feedlot.
I then got introduced to a woman who owns a rescue in Fort Collins Colorado. I went to the rescue to look at a few
horses I was thinking about adding to our home.
She saves horses from a feedlot where horses are sent to wait for
there rides to the slaughter house.
We went to the feedlot and I looked at a 2 day old baby that was scared, sick
and dirty waiting for a ride to slaughter with her mother. I had to help some little way. Any way.
So as it is. Hopefully
soon I am to adopt 1 horse from slaughter to train and then sell to a good family. The money I make from this horse will go
to buying more horses from Slaughter.
